KALEIDOSCOPE ;
The sand felt warm beneath silver-dusted feet as the flyanta delta left the scattered shade of the tree line and made his way for the waves. The sky stretched on above him, an endless canvas of cerulean paint that ran parallel to the beryl below. Not a single cloud was in sight, and nothing masked the horizon.
Muscles shifting like the well-oiled gears of a smooth-running machine, the flyanta male made his way down the beach, carrying himself loosely. His shoulders and haunches moved in rhythm, following the cadence of an easy trot as eyes turned violet-blue by the reflections of heaven moved across the waves. The early morning sunshine had chased away the night and its star-saved abyss, and a day spectacular with the spring air was promised in the zephyrs.
The wolf, Scope, knew he had a place to be. The happenings of pack life was perpetual, and the morning was great for hunting. Still, he was not with the rest of the flyantas. He was out here, all alone with nothing but blue skies for an alibi.
His steady canter slowed before he came to a graceful stop, and instinctively, his jaws parted to let loose the coral of a lolling tongue. It was not a picture as beautiful as the wolves of his pack would have liked, but it was an image common to all canines, and Kaleidoscope was no different. But he seemed to realize how ridiculous he looked, and he quickly drew close his mouth again, ears twitching in the caress of the gentle wind.
The sky drew Scope's gaze again, and he pointed his nose up to watch the blue. His eyes locked on the sun, he challenged its stare until he could no longer and turned away to match the glare on the sea instead. Slowly, his muscles loosened and his stance shifted until he rested back on slender haunches, his feathery tail curled around his paws.
Carelessly, the silver and ivory brute brought a rasping tongue over his forepaw, smoothing the fur that had become ruffled by movement. It was typical flyanta behavior, and the thought, when it occurred to him, seemed amusing. He knew logically that he was as well-groomed as any other, but still he continued to wash. It was as mental as it was physical, and in this, only a flyanta could believe.
There was no reason for him to be out here, and he knew there were better uses for him around the falls. Spring brought teaming life to the cove, and he knew the others were busy with hunting or training, but he couldn't bring himself to work today. He'd take the blame later. Perhaps he'd do twice as much tomorrow, but that was tomorrow, and that was not now.
Perhaps another would find him lazing on the white sand, but he didn't care for the moment. He was always drifting off, and the others were sure to be used to it by now. Still, they always found him, and when they did, he had no objection to going wherever they wanted him to be. It hardly mattered to him, and presently, he lifted his gaze to scope the surroundings.
Would they find him soon? His jaws parted in a half-smile. Experience said yes, but he shook the thought from his mind. Let them find him. He could use some company anyway.

D I S C O T E K A` I make the beat go boom. Boom. Boom ♫ I know why the caged bird sings. The sun light was blinding, yet the leader continued to stare into the sun. Well, not directly. She had been laying in the sand on the beach near the cove. She decided to get up and start moving around. She was being way to lazy. Tilting her head from side to side, making her pelt shake from side to side. She stopped and looked around. Inhaling the salty air, she caught the scent of a brute somewhere near her. She blinked. A brute? she had never come across a brute in a long time. The pack had really cleared out since her father past on leadership to her. She breathed in deeply. It was time to pull on her social skills. Taking in a deep breath, she went on her way.
A quick trot was her pace as she set out along the whitewater beach. The hue of the water matched the sky. It was so incredible. She liked the sight. It made her smile. Soon enough, she spotted a brute laying in the sand. She stopped and cocked her head to one side. She felt as she already had met this brute. She sighed. It seemed like she had, but it was okay. She still hadn't spoken to every wolf in her pack. A ranking member or not. She walked over to the brute and smiled. "Hi," she muttered. For some reason, she got really shy all of a sudden. She wondered why. Eh, it didn't matter. She would get over. She was a leader and she had to be assertive.

KALEIDOSCOPE ;
The soft valleys of dented sand masked the onset of approaching footfalls, but it did nothing for the wolf's other senses. Not even the perfume of the lapis salted waves or the light stirring of tumbling zephyrs could shield scent from wolven nostrils. Indeed, the wind’s soft bursts of breath brought the faint odor even closer, and before the ivory hued wolf turned to gaze upon the face of the newcomer, he could tell that she was from his pack, and high-ranked at that. Deep violet eyes left the crashing of seawater to gaze out across the white-sand beach, finally coming to rest on the sashaying walk of a familiar wolfess. He took in the gentle curves of the slender body before fixing his attention on the brilliance of blue eyes that glowed from the finely-crafted features of her face.
Discoteka.
She approached quietly before registering him on the horizon, and at that, broke into a trot. The white male rose from his relaxed position, paws digging into the warm sand as he watched her near, the faintest of frowns touching his brow as he wondered why the leader of his pack was out here, and why she was approaching him with such a pace. It was not that the two were good friends as they had exchanged words on rare occasions only. To him, Discoteka had always been just an alpha, a leader to look up to, respect, and admire like an idol. She had never been anything more than a commanding officer, but now she was before him, wearing the oddest shy smile, and his mind raced.
”Hi.” The greeting left her lips like the faintest of breezes, and the soft voice she spoke in was pleasant to the ears. The male ran his tongue along the inner surfaces of his fangs behind closed lips, observing. It did not sound like a tone of reprimand. She was not here to question why he was not with the pack.
Suddenly, the full magnitude of the situation registered, and with this realization came a quick dip of the head, a gesture of respect and submission to the higher wolf. Then, the fathoms of his eyes lifted curiously to the female before him, and a slight smile crossed the black leather of his lips to match her own expression.
”Morning,” he replied, the sound breaking from lips that had remained closed for way too long, a melodic note in the early summer air. Then, as if reprimanding himself for sounding so casual with the alphess of the pack, he added, ”M’lady.” Now that sounded too formal. The white wolf gave a flick of his ear and his gaze lowered a fraction of an inch again. But he was far too indifferent to the ideas of others to care what he looked like. A wolf like him was of no real consequence to someone like her, and he was only a warrior where she was a queen. It didn’t matter what he sounded like, and she would probably already know that he was no more than a simple delta.
Eyes alit with curiosity again, he cocked his head to watch her, vaguely wondering if it was time he finally got to know the wolf who’d always hidden behind a veil of enigmatic power.
Comments ;; I don't mind at all! I noticed that Flyanta had no deltas so I shoved my idiot at the rank. xD

D I S C O T E K A` I make the beat go boom. Boom. Boom ♫ She watched the brute as she approached. His attention came from the sea back to the beach, then to her. Her mind was going through the list of wolves that she actually met. There were so many since being the alpha's daughter, and now the alpha. She wondered who it was. She couldn't bring a name to a face. This one was one of the wolves who actually carried a rank within the pack. Damn it. She really wished she could remember the name. Once, within a couple feet of the brute, she sat down. She smiled brightly when he greeted her like her rank entitled her to. At least, wolves within the group could recognize her. That was a start. Now, if only she could think of this brute's name. Guh, damn it all she thought. Maybe it would come to her eventually. Well, she could hope that it would.
♫ "Morning to you as well," she replied. She might as well show kindness right back to him. She really wished she could think of a name to match this face. She was positive that she had met this brute before. Somewhere...She smiled politely. She knew it would be embarassing to her to not know his name. It would be very impolite for her to ask him of his name. He would maybe feel that he isn't important to her. Everyone in this territory was very important to her. Now, she couldn't have bad impressions of her circulating through the pack. That would not do well for her. "How are you on this fine day?" she asked curiously. Maybe hearing more of his face would cause her to remember. His eyes are violet purple. How could she not remember his name? With such unique and beautiful eyes, what was causing her to forget? She wasn't sure. All she could do was hope that it would come to her.

KALEIDOSCOPE ;
For a moment, the alphess seemed stressed, and careful violet eyes caught the brief moment of tension in her eyes before it faded away. The idea struck at the white male, but he held his tongue in check. He could not even be sure of what he had seen, but it seemed unlikely that such a wolf would ever betray any insecurity in front of another. He blinked, ears twitching slightly in response to the breath of teasing wind that lingered about the beach, stirring the fur of both wolves, and driving the lapis waters to sing with crashing waves.
A smile crossed the wolfess' lips as she addressed him with a reply of greeting, and he felt his lips curl, too, at the sound of her voice. That was the alpha's power, and although he barely knew her wolf-to-wolf, her confidence as a leader enabled her to calm her pack with her own demeanor. Or perhaps that was an added bonus of being an ice wolf. He wouldn't know.
"I'm fine," he murmured in response, before a pause broke his words. Ears pulled themselves close to velvet-furred head as instinctively, Scope felt himself enter a more submissive position. "Though perhaps I should be elsewhere...doing more useful things..." The words barely escaped his lips in an audible breath, but he forced himself to lift his gaze to meet hers, wondering and waiting for a reprimand.
He didn't know the femme well, but she was his leader, and he suddenly questioned again if she had approached him to ask why he was not with the others, hunting perhaps, or patrolling the border territory... His attention flickered over her, and the young wolf tried to hide his nervous curiosity. Truth be told, it didn't look like a reprimand was coming, but he still felt like a trembling pup before the wolven alphess.
"But it is a beautiful day."
The words blurted out, and color rose beneath white fur covering. It was almost an excuse --- both to her and to himself. He held his tongue again, the tip of his tail twitching uncomfortably as if unsure whether to be submissive or defiant.
Comments ;; Merrr I'm such a douche. Sorry for the late reply. ^^;

D I S C O T E K A` I make the beat go boom. Boom. Boom ♫ She caught his glance. Yet he remained silent. She pondered. She knew it was a bad idea for a leader to expose weakness in front of a pack member. They would lose faith in her and she could lose faith and even the pack. She would never do that . She couldn't bare it. "Good to hear," she replied. She watched as he grew insecure of her presence. She sighed. Her auds cocked down as she felt that her power was causing him to feel insecure. She hated that feeling. All she wanted to get to know everyone in the Flyanta lands. She nodded her head. "I suppose so," she muttered quietly.
♫ Her optics glanced around at her surroundings and noticed the sun and blue sky. It was a lovely sight. True beauty, or what she felt it was. But it is a beautiful day. The lyrics escaped the poor brute's maw. She looked over at him and smiled. "Yes it is. It's nice to see other canines take notice than just myself," she replied. She was a different Flyanta member. She loved watching and seeing beauty in nature than anything else. She hated watching narcissistic canines try to make themselves look better. If you're beautiful, enjoy it. Don't wear it out otherwise it will go away and never be there anymore. Her father had done that. Such a sad sight. Well, it was how most of Flyanta was anyways. She would have to put up with it no matter how she put it.
♫ She smiled at the brute, and muttered,"You would be Kaleidoscope, yes?." The name suddenly came to her. Of course. His eyes. His ivory pelt. This was the delta Kaleidoscope. Everyone called him Scope, but Discoketa preferred full names. She sometimes was a rather formal character. She didn't mind, hopefully others didn't either. She took a deep breath, and felt the salt air beginning to burn on her throat. She loved that burning. Something that was very comforting to her. Her optics eventually found the brute again, hopefully he would relax a bit when she talked more to him.

KALEIDOSCOPE ;
He was glad, feeling the tension ease at her tone. Violet eyes met her blue gaze, and for an unusual moment, met not as a follower to a leader but as two wolves meeting in the sand, on the verge of what could lead to a normal friendship. Scope watched as she spoke, appreciating the velvet of her voice and nodding in agreement to her sentiments.
Discoteka seemed to pause in her own thoughts for a moment, and he looked on quietly as was his nature, unsure whether she was expecting him to speak or simply to wait. She was an unusual leader, he thought, although he knew no other to any extent. He had heard of the other pack alphas, the reservations of the Goronzo alphess, the coldly authoritative Zynex of Tytanus... but his own was different. She seemed more content to sit and watch the world pass by, to observe the beauty of nature than to fight, to kill, to take life for her own and the might of her pack.
She was more like him than he'd imagined.
He heard her voice wrap around his name, and the sound brought him out of his reveries. A shy small touched his lips, and Kaleidoscope nodded. It sounded strange to an extent, the syllables of his calling coming from her, but he couldn't say why. Perhaps he'd never expected to be talking to one such as she in such circumstances; perhaps he had always expected to hear his name growled in anger or as a command to attack, to defend, to kill.
"Yes, I am Kaleidoscope," he answered with a nod, and then, a spark of daring touched him, and his eyes were aflame with mischief. "I don't quite remember, but I think you might be Discoteka..."
Mouth parted in a grin, he gave a thump on the sand with feathery tail and watched her. Overhead, the blue sky reigned, and the sun shone down on them. He looked at her, more relaxed than before. It felt more like speaking to a new friend than an authority figure now, save for the quiet surge of his heartbeat as he waited for a response to his joke.

D I S C O T E K A` I make the beat go boom. Boom. Boom ♫ Optics watched the brute carefully relax his tensed muscles. A lovely smile grew on her face. She was getting through to him. She didn't feel so much like the authority figure to him. Friendship within her pack is what she wanted to achieve. She hardly knew everyone within the pack. Kaleidoscope was really the first member she actually met. She had seen other members walking along in the territory, but it was nice to actually speak with someone. She hated being one of the wolves of Flyanta who could just enjoy the scenery. Most of the time wolves assumed she wasn't a tough fighter. Well, she could be. She just choose not to be aggressive. The second her step-sister came into the picture, her nerves and adrenaline kicks in. Taking a deep salty air, her optics found the horizon. The sun was still high in the sky, and the water was deep navy blue.
♫ A smirk grew on her face as the brute dared an interesting comment. She laughed. It sounded free and careless. Smooth as marble. A seductive grin appeared on her maw, then it slowly faded to a small tender smile. "Yes, I would be Discoteka," she grinned. Charming brute, she must admit. Before it appeared that he wouldn't speak much, but giving her that comment showed that he could be a bit more cheerful than she imagined. She heard a thump from his banner, and giggled. She felt very open. Maybe relationships were actually an option for her. She spent most of her life stuck in the shadows of step-sister and step-mother. Her father just sat back and watched how she would handle the situation. In the end, she received pack leadership. Receiving alpha title from her father, her evil side came out. Banning her step-sister and her step-mother, she took over the pack. Now, she was committing to her duty as leader. Hopefully, she could just get through to her pack members. It was her only goal.

KALEIDOSCOPE ;
She laughed, a strange melodious sound he was unused to hearing from her. But then again, he and the alpha had never been close if anything. Still, the sound was pleasant, and its song teased a smile onto his hesitant lips. He watched a grin dawn on her face, a sexy little thing before it blossomed into a smile that lit up her features. Now, she resembled nothing of the alpha he’d seen prowling through the pack. In the place of that fearsome wolf was a younger female with innocence and almost naivety in her eyes, blue eyes. But he didn’t only admire the colour as other wolves might. His violet gaze probed into those azure fathoms, perhaps more steadily than one should look at one’s leader, but the carefree nature of the moment had disarmed him. Who was this Discoteka? Would he know her before she faded away to become the stuff of legends?
His paws shifted slightly in the warm sand, and a coral tongue appeared behind shining fangs as his jaws parted in a grin more playful than he’d displayed in a long time. A nuance of courage tugged at his heartstrings, and he tilted his head to one side, narrowing his eyes theatrically.
”Excellent, we now know each other’s names.” Where were all these jokes coming from? Under the gentle tease of the warm wind, his left ear gave a faint flicker before straightening to train forward, catching the sound of her laughter again. It was faint, almost childish like a pup’s giggle, and unable to help himself, he burst into laughter as well before cutting it off and struggling to mask his mirth. ”I wasn’t laughing at you. Of course not.” But the unintentionally charismatic smirk gave away the lie. Ah well.
She was different than he’d imagined, although he didn’t spend much of his free time thinking about the pack alpha. However, he’d always imagined a more rigid wolf to be the female who led them. Of course, the assumption was natural for easy-going she-wolves didn’t often make the leader position without a mate, but alas, times were changing and they were changing fast. How did that feel?
[/color] he wondered to himself, eyes still resting on her but with less of their intensity now. Underneath the mask of an alpha, the demeanor she must adopt and maintain, there was a real wolf. Did she have urges and feelings like the rest of them? Did mistakes and childish play exist in her life? They were silly questions, ones he dared not ask, but they filled his eyes with quizzical starlight. ”So what’s the news around the pack, my queen?” The question was half serious, half comical, but the white wolf spoke with a straight face. Only an arched brow accentuated his voice, but this alone was a hint to the humour within. My queen. And there he went, nick-naming the alphess Discoteka. Comments ;; Awww they're cute. D I S C O T E K A` I make the beat go boom. Boom. Boom He was quite a quirky brute. She didn't mind. It was nice to have the company. Most of the time, she was off on her own making sure that everything was still together, and her part of the island wasn't burning into bits. Her seductive smirk appeared on her maw once again, and grunted. "Lying is one of the deadly sins," she commented with a quirk of her eye. Most wolves knew this. Especially wolves of Flyanta. Well, they didn't know pride was a sin as well. She noticed that most wolves took so much time into caring for her pelt and their appearance that they became sloths. Failing to utilize their full potential. Another deadly sin. This pack was on a role, wonderful. Her tail curled around her thin body. Scope was quite a character, giving her a much different view on the Flyanta pack.
News? She wasn't quite sure what he meant by that. She never heard of anything about the pack apart from the fact that most of the time they were prideful lusting pigs. That was all she heard. A concerned look grew into her maw, but faded when the word queen came with his lyrics. Queen. That's a high complimented. She smiled again. "No I haven't heard of anything. All I know is the island is still standing in one piece," she muttered with a grin. Either he was trying to get himself in trouble or he was just acting like a pup. "Now Scope, deary, are you asking to hurt or are you just messing with me," she grinned playfully. Well, it didn't matter to her. He was still acting like a doll. It was odd to her. She had never met a wolf who was so friendly towards her. Or at least that spoke with her. It was the first time in a long time.

KALEIDOSCOPE ;
”Lying is one of the deadly sins.”
Ah, so she was joking in return. A smirk lit up the brute’s maw, and he cocked his head, eyes trailing over the finely-crafted features of the alpha female. Her lips wore a faint smile that seemed to say I know more than you, and a clever gleam shone from the fathoms of her crystalline blue eyes.
”Well yes… but so is sloth, greed, envy, and of course, pride…” He mocked a great yawn as if disinterested in the subject, opening and closing his mouth after the manner of a young pup just awoken from his nap. ”I don’t know, seems to me that half the pack is doomed to burn in hell, my queen.” The ghost of a smile rested on pale lips as he watched her idly, noticing the faintest of movements. She wrapped her tail around her haunches as if to get more comfortable in the sand, and his own gave a small, almost catlike twitch at the end.
She responded to his question easily enough, noting the general peace of the island. He wasn’t surprised. Growing up in the pack had taught him that almost nothing ever happened in his pack of self-adoring wolves. The most trouble they could stir up was one wolf attacking another because of an insult to her beauty or something like that. How lame. How boring. But an easy laugh touched his lips as she next spoke, and it was difficult work to rearrange his features into calm composure.
”Of course not, your highness,” he replied with a clever smile. He was smooth in his joking reassurance, and the smile she worn told him that she wasn’t annoyed. In fact, the conversation was going oddly well between two wolves of such different upbringing. Discoteka may have headed his pack, but she had never before spoken to Kaleidoscope one on one. Perhaps there’d never been the time before, but the present tranquility of the pack brought more than sunny days to their island home. It was a strange and tantalizing prospect that tugged at his mind as he looked at her. He’d always been a rather solitary wolf by nature, but the potential of gaining a friend was as tempting as a zephyr on a searing day.
”You are the queen, and I am but your courtly jester.” The lines rolled off his tongue like rich velvet, and the casual grin on his face never wavered. He found himself in the strangest of circumstances, but the conversation with the literal queen of Flyanta was turning to his liking. She wasn’t like the others. They were all obsessed with their own appearances, and a single wolf could let a day waste by staring at himself in one of the many clear lagoons around the island. Of course, that was not to say that he did not value what they did, but the oddity of his puppyhood had shifted and molded differently a mind originally destined to be like all the others. There were more important things in the world than looks. Violet eyes as bright as the hidden cosmos skated over the elegance of Discoteka’s form.
But that’s not to say that one can’t admire what’s in front of him.
Comments ;; Sorry if this post is a bit lacking. I got back from a postponed fireworks show not long ago, and my muse is a bit deflated since this is my 3rd post in a row tonight. xD

D I S C O T E K A` I make the beat go boom. Boom. Boom She watched as the brute's eyes went over her fine features. How odd. Was he observing more than what most pack members do? There was a first. Most Flyanta pack members were stuck looking on themselves which always pissed her off even more than usually, and generally she wasn't an angry character. Well, at least there were some pack members who had some sense in them. Scope just stated the five other deadly sins. Maybe this pack wasn't completely doomed after all. She smirked, and then chuckled. "It comes with the name," she stated. She licked her chops, with another smirk appearing on the regina's maw. Although, this whole queen business was quite amusing to her. Well, her bloodline had been royal for several generations back. Her father was not the first alpha of her family. Discoteka just happened to be the first female.
Even though, she had lived on an island of wolves who were completely prideful asses. She still held a standard up with the pack. She wanted every Flyanta to be strong and faithful. Beauty just happened to be a bonus especially in Discoteka's eyes. Although, the whole beauty above all was started to bother her, to a point where she could hardly take being around the pack anymore. In only the few moments she was able to talk with Scope. He was much different that the rest of the pack. He had personality and depth which was nice. It was the first wolf she ever met that didn't concentrate on themselves. It was a wonderful thing. Maybe there was such a thing in higher beings. They brought her this unique individual with the name of Kaleidoscope. She was one lucky female.
His words were smooth and soft. They wrapped around her mind just as the blue sky around the burning sun. She smirked. A new feeling began to creep up inside of her. It was a seducing emotion. "Do you like what you see, Scope?" she whispered. The words came out like a song. In a flirty seducing way. Discoteka never acted like this, ever. But for some reason, just the way Scope's eyes gazed over her ivory pelt, just made her want to hear him speak about her, and only her. It was a lustful act, and she felt completely enchanted by it. All she wanted was to hear Scope's voice, and yet something deep in the back of her mind wanted more. What a way to be. A female alpha getting friendly with the pack Delta. That was certainly wonderful for her record. Well, she didn't mind. She didn't have any real friends, just jesters.

KALEIDOSCOPE ;
The fathomless violet of his eyes watched her with quiet interest as she smiled, the expression lifting the corners of her lips. Her features brightened with the expression, and diamond-blue eyes gleamed under the sunlight. Perhaps she had caught his wandering eye, but the leader didn’t seem to mind. Perhaps the leader part of her did… But Discoteka was more than just a pack alpha, and he knew that she was still a female wolf. She had emotions and sensitivities just like the rest of them, only her upbringing and responsibility as an alpha wolf kept her emotions in check. No Flyanta wolf disliked being admired. In a way, the reservations of being a leader made her more appealing. His first mating season had passed by without happenstance, and truth be told, he avoided the females of the pack. They were fairies, beautiful as the sprites of legend, but just as vain. They were shallow, wanting only to speak of themselves, and they could pass immeasurable amounts of time grooming or admiring themselves. That life was not for him. You can’t see the world out of a mirror.
Do you like what you see, Scope?
He paused in his thoughts, attention brought to the slender she-wolf before him again. For a moment, silence settled between them as the melody of her voice turned teasing and flirtatious. His eyes passed over her enticingly lovely features again and stopped at the twin pools of crystalline cerulean eyes. They were uniquely bright, a colour so pure that he was sure he’d never seen the same hue before. He halted to consider them with admiration – the exact shade of an afternoon sky while his own were the same colour as the star-strewn heavens. The shadow of a smile touched his lips, and he answered softly with more truth than he’d told in a long time.
”What’s not to like?”
Was that what she wanted him to say? The simplicity of his statement-in-question would have only pacified the island’s other residents for mere seconds before they demanded exactly what he liked about them. Tell me, Kaleidoscope, they would coo, batting their eyes as shameless seduction filled their expressions. What is your favourite part? Do you like my eyes? See how bright they are? But Discoteka was somehow different. She had her own charm, and it was as attractive as a candle flame to moths, but she was unlike them. She was subtle, intelligent, and clever whereas the rest of them were flashy, vulgar, and impatient for compliments.
”But there’s more that I can’t see.” The words came out in a whisper as soft as the wind. The quiet lapping of the waves filled his ears, but his eyes were fixed on her. He hadn’t meant to speak aloud, but a part of him believed that she wouldn’t be angered and that she wouldn’t take the careless statement to be intrusive and bold. After all, a Delta was hardly supposed to speak so openly with a leader who had more important matters to deal with. Who was fit to speak with an alpha as a friend? It seemed to him that the moment they ascended to the leader position, they separated a part of themselves from being a real wolf. Wolves are social animals, but the leader's path is often walked alone. Even a beta could only say so much. The smile he carried faded slightly and turned more somber, serious. He turned his gaze away to look out over the horizon, a wistful gleam in his eyes. His voice softened, laced with a gentle sorrow as if the words were meant for himself as well as the alphess. ”It must be lonely.”
Comments ;; Random question -- Discoteka's white, right?

D I S C O T E K A` I make the beat go boom. Boom. Boom Deep purple orbs continued to observe her thin ivory pelt. He was one of the first wolves that she ever met that wasn't so vain as to observe what was around him instead of himself. He was the type of wolf that Discoteka wanted to associate herself with. Ice gems watched as his maw remained mostly emotionless, even though, there was a peeking interest in those amethyst optics of his. It was such a unique color. Only here on Nevermore could you see canines with such interesting choice of eye hue. He seemed like an in-depth character. That there was so much more to the picture than just the outside. The artist always took such careful time deciding which shade of blue or violet to use instead of just spilling it all onto to the canvas. He liked to admire the work that was placed before him.
"There will always be more than you expect," she replied with a smirk. She was coming to a new divide of her life. She had taken steps to every new section. Her childhood had been the worst, and then her young adult life begun with acceptance as pack leader. Now, she was coming to a more mature phase. Love, lust, infatuation. Whatever word you wanted to use. She had an interest burning into the back of her skull constantly telling her. He's different. He may be for you. She wasn't sure if she should believe it or reject this idea. Alphas have the most difficult time finding a mate, because everyone in the pack are their children, and they must take care of their children. They can't just leave them helplessly going around looking for guidance. The alpha had to provide this guidance. A light in the dark. They had the knowledge to lead a group, and keep it together. Every pack needed one.
Rogues were different characters. Yet alphas and rogues had similar ways of going along with their life. Rogues usually traveled in territories as they wished searching for whatever their goal is to reach. Alpha travel around in a pack keeping their pack together and work as one. Like the beat of a drum, they had to continue marching on even if their emotions were working against them. It must be lonely. The lyrics escaped his lips with such a emotional twist that it made her spine quiver. It was an odd sensation, but she enjoyed it nonetheless. She smirked, and closed her eyes for a moment. She looked at the ivory brute, and muttered quietly,"You have no idea." She licked her chops and chuckled quietly. Loneliness had grown into her heart. She was so use to being by herself that being around other wolves had caused her to have grown cold. But it seemed that Scope was melting that shield her heart had built up. What now? She wondered. Would she open up and expose her most inner thoughts? Or continue to just dream that her life would change?

KALEIDOSCOPE ;
The collected smirk remained on her lips as she replied, and her answer in itself was very wise. Her eyes stayed on his, glinting under the sunlight like ice blue pools, and he felt as if she was looking into his very soul. But as he watched her, neutrality reflected in his expression, he noted the subtle distance that had been taken into her expression. As if she was lost in thoughts within herself, her eyes seemed almost blank but for the occasional spark of light, recovering only as the sound of his unintentional statement touched her velvet ears. The half-smile adorning her lips deepened as if she understood a deeper meaning of his words, or perhaps an inside joke had passed between them.
You have no idea.
A soft chuckle broke the quiet, and he quirked a subtle brow in interest. Perhaps she was right. He had never walked in the steps of an alpha wolf, and he knew that it was unlikely he ever would, but he did know loneliness and was familiar with the bitter sweet taste of solitude. It was the sensation of being different, after all. She was the leader of a pack of vain dogs, elevated on a platform above the rest, and he was the metaphorical black sheep of the pack because he didn’t value what they did. No, they were not the same people, and yet they may have been the two wolves of Flyanta most likely to understand each other. The distant alpha, and the oddity of a delta. How strange.
”Perhaps not,” he replied with a quiet murmur, drawing a breath of sea air. The sun beamed down on the two, and Scope lowered his gaze to the sand, observing the minute mountains and valleys of white grains with thoughtful eyes. He drew a careful paw across the beach floor, leveling a small area before him before lightly carving swirls into the sand with a single onyx claw. Then, he looked up from his makeshift zen garden, eyes leveling with Discoteka’s again. He opened his mouth, then closed it again as the feeling that he wanted to say something engulfed him. But what he wanted to say, he was unsure of.
”I wish…” he paused again, frowning faintly at the distant horizon. A pair of gulls swept across the sky, their calls echoing in the breeze, the sun shining on outstretched wings. ”I wish we could choose what paths our lives took.” It was a half-somber statement, but there was the strangest element of optimism in his voice like he was making an impossible wish to the unseen stars. ”Perhaps we can.” The playful smirk returned to adorn his lips as he turned to look at her, the midnight of his eyes dancing with silent laughter.
”You, my queen, are an alpha wolf, after all.”
