ooc: -looking for the Goranzo leader to join at some point-
The question whirled around her head. Indeed...where had her beloved sibling gone? They had only separated for a moment...or rather, Devyant decided to take his leave for private reasons. Skar had grown used to his mysterious disappearances, but none the less it was annoying to say the least. Honestly...where did that mongrel have to go that was so important that he couldn't take her. Hadn't they traveled all this time together?
Ivory lips parted wide with an annoyed howl for her tormenting brother. Really...his behavior was becoming bothersome. And here she wanted to share this beautiful scene with him. This land her delicate snout had brought them was a delight to the eyes to say the least. The expanse before them was decorated in a lush green, speckled with various flowery hues. The scent they created was simply divine, a beckon that spring was among them. The smells were enough to set the female's sense wild with glee. Her desire to romp and play among the flowers was at its peak...and who better to play with than her dear brother.
Yet...he had wandered off somewhere, but when she was ready to speak the proposal. the male had taken flight like a leaf on the wind, leaving no trail or remains of his flight. Bothersome...simply bothersome. Left to the scenery alone, the lithe Grey descend her rear to the ground, arching her back slightly as slender legs folded underneath a sturdy chest. Slender bodice heaved with a frustrated sigh as aqua gems danced over the landscape. The playful light that usually lit the liquid pools was no longer there. Instead they clouded, a silent storm brewing within the docile form.
She was never right without her brother...and she was sure the male knew that. So why did he leave? Oh it was just so irritating to even fathom what the male could be doing without her. Surely he hadn't scented a female nearby, for if so, she would have noted the scent as well. And he couldn't be relieving himself. He had no qualm with doing that in front of her...so there was no need for privacy now. A wide spanned paw slapped the ground in agitation and ivory fangs bore to none but her imagination. The female had a mind to call for her brother, demand he return to her side and they play together. But she thought better of it. If he wanted time alone...it had to have been for a good reason. Or at least for one she wasn't thinking of. Slowly her irritation for her brother's conduct lessened as she thought better of him, her gaze that was quickly sweep across the valley slowed, and wandered, taking the sights before her fully rather than as a means to distract her mind.
This place truly was beautiful. A real paradise from the rugged terrain and frozen tundra as they were used to. The Goranzo territory as it was called. A clan of intelligent wolves that sought enlightenment rather than fight among other packs. It sounded like a collection of minds by how it was advertised by her brother. Still, despite the constant reminders of their destination, Skarlet still didn't understand why Devyant insisted they join a pack. They were a pack themselves...two yes, but that was enough. Why did they need others..
So many questions bombarded her already stressed mind, rousing a migraine to push against her temples. Too much thought would not serve her well, she reasoned. And as her own prescription, she took a soothing breath, silenced her rampant mind and let her consciousness be taken away by the wondrous scene before her.

T H I R T E E N you might as well just do it alone and i'll watch you go
She had been doing quite a bit of emotion-releasing the past few days, and she was feeling quite positive for once, and she liked the feeling. There was a smile over her maw as she walked on through a patch of flowers, taking careful steps not to crush any as she went on her way. Humming in a rhythmic and melodical way as she pranced, the scent of the flowers and grass swirled around in her mind, dancing with the lyrics present at the time. It was normal for her to be singing either aloud or in her mind, it happened quite frequently. Her jaws parted a little as the sweet melody poured out of her head and into the air.
“See me here in the air not holding on to anywhere, but holding on, so beware; I have secrets I won't share. See me here pushing you, if I then deny I do. Contemplate or wish away; if I ask you not to stay.”
Tail swayed in the air, pausing in her tracks. The grass tickled at her paws as she giggled lightly to herself, eyes pointing to the sky. The bright orange shade was only illuminated further by the bright blue sky above her head. Closing her eyes, she took one step forward, her body lowering until her stomach rubbed over the flowers. Inhaling sharply, the fur across her spine rose as her body fell down sharply into the ground. Her body was now in a crater, of pure crushed dirt and dust. The ground she was once on was a pile of rubble, the pressure around her getting lighter and returning to normal again as she let air flow out of her lungs and her eyes opened.
It had been the first time she had ever used her Element for something other than levitating. And, she was surprised with the outcome. Her smile faded however as she rose and looked at her paws. All of the grass and flowers had been crushed to nothing more than dust. Eyes tore away from her nature-massacre, paws carrying her to the edge of her crater. With a swift jump, she was free of the chaos and walked away. If any wolf were to stumble upon her little mess, they would be quite astonished. She was at least. Taking one final glance over her shoulder, she pranced away as fast as she could. Finding the waters, she sighed and watched her reflection rippling. It was so serene.
As she was about to lower her rear down, she shot back up and her eyes widened with fright as a rather annoyed howl caught her attention. Tail rose high in the air, ears tall as she tried to stop who had caused such a racket. Turning around, she just about made out a figure in the distance, a grey furred wolf lying down. The air smelt of one of her own, one of the new additions that she had required to her pack. The smile returned as she decided it would be more than acceptable for her to ask what was wrong. So, she walked over, head a little to the right side of her body. “Good morning to you.” Her voice was lighter than usual, and a bit more bouncy too; “You seem a little distressed, are you alright dear?” As she got closer, she noticed it was Skarlet, her new Delta. And, she seemed to be without her brother, possibly causing the irritation in her.
However, she could have been wrong.
Sitting down with a rather pleasant gap between them, her orange eyes studied the female for a moment. There was less of a spark in her eyes than normal, and the distress was quite obvious, even without the howling. Still, she kept the smile on her face. Cheering others up was something she seemed to be good at. Lowering her muzzle to the grass, she gently took a flower in her teeth and let it drop, pushing it towards Skarlet. Perhaps it would make her feel better, knowing she had company.

Within her daze, aqua pools drifted shut as mind and body were separated from the wolven body. Her mind swam within a sea of darkness, shrouded by the unseen veil and teased by the blind sensations that touched it. The tickle of her fur by stray zephyrs caused a tingle in her mind. She "felt" the sensation course its way, felt it seep into her body and rode the invisible connection to her mind. A tiny smile appeared on her exterior, a giddy sort of turn of the lips. She so loved to separate her mind and body and feel what others took for granted. It was all she could do now that she was granted the time due to her brother's absence. Recollection of the male drew her attention back to the present scene around her. Dark lids slowly parted as audits became unmuted and strained.
A voice caressed her ears so suddenly the female jumped. An unearthly squeak came from her maw as her cranium shot around to the intruder to her personal space. Rampant heart quickly settled as her eyes beheld the leader of the Goranzo, the female oddly named Thirteen. A strange name, but suiting. "Good morning to you," a smile adorned her cream muzzle. A subtle wave of embarrassment caused her face to warm and her belly to flutter as the female inquired about her distressing state. Triangular appendages twitched then descended half mast betraying her attempt to veil her bashful state. "Um..I'm alright. Sorry about um..that..." her teeth bore in a sheepish smile then were once again veiled. "For some reason my idiot sibling decided to run off on his own again. I really annoys me when he just ups and leaves within a reason." Heavy plume smacked the ground in frustration. "..that idiot..."
Down-casted orbs wandered over the ground, too stricken with annoyance to meet the Alpha's eyes. But they lifted as the offered trinket was nudged toward her. Sapphire gems sparkled happily with a hint of gratitude as they lifted to her leader again. Her tail gave a slow sway. "Thank you..." she woofed softly. Her own nose returned to the ground and began nudging through stems of flowers, sniffing for a suitable gift to the Alpha. She nudged a light blue flower then plucked it by the stem, tossing her head into the air to project the flower. Skar smiled as the flower floated down listlessly and landed on Thirteen's snout.

The wind was very gentle and rather soothing to her, even if her coat was being utterly destroyed with each passing second, the feeling of calm was wonderful. Ears twitched ever so slightly, the tip of her tail following as her eyes drifted around. The water was not too far off, she could hear it. And, it made her mind fall into a dream-like state. She could remember her meeting with the Flyanta Omega very clearly, the image of night and water very strong in her head. Despite the awkward circumstances they had met under, the night was still wonderful and serene. Thirteen began to wonder how her friend was doing, and if he was alright. After all, they had both had their fair share of tears that night, but…it all seemed to resolve. Unless both were hiding under there facades again. It was the most likely thing to have happened. Their secrets were quite large and would most likely cause distress if uttered around the wrong wolves. Sighing quietly to herself, she blinked a few times, drifting her attention back over to her Delta. She had yet to put a name to the face, but something was coming to her. Some kind of colour. Red? No, Skarlet! She smiled a little to herself as she remembered the she-wolf’s name.
It wasn’t until her fellow pack-wolf jumped, that she even realised she had startled the poor dear. Sheepishly smiling in her own way, she dipped her head. As she lifted her head again, Thirteen noticed that Skarlet was a little bashful, which made her laugh for a moment. “No need for modesty darling, it’s quite alright.” She listened to her tale. Her brother had wandered off somewhere? Even to Thirteen, she found that quite odd. The male had been the one to enquire about joining the pack after all, and took place as her guardian. And yet, he was not around. That puzzled her for a moment, tail flicking a few more times. “I see. That is quite…upsetting, if that is the correct word to use. I hope he does have a good reason, for Guardians never normally leave their chosen wolf without such a reason. I am sure he will turn up soon dear.” Still lost under the rules of her own pack, she had never really had experience with a Guardian. She had never had one, despite her being an heir. It was her own choice to be independent, but one was never too far away from her. Even now, she did not have a Guardian, and it was only Skarlet who had one.
A wider smile befell her face as Thirteen saw the glittering in her companions sapphire eyes. Bowing again, she rose to her feet, shook her fur, and sat down once more. “It is a pleasure to see you smile again.” Orange eyes watched as the silver furred female dug around by her own paws, finding a light blue flower. It was dainty and delicate, but as she honed in on it more, the scent was irresistible to her acute senses. As the stem and flower landed on her nose, she giggled quietly to herself. “Now, there was no need for such a wonderful token.” With a flick of her nose, she moved the flower towards her right ear, tucking it gently in her fur using her powers. She always loved putting flowers behind her ears, it made her happier than normal to say the least.

It was comforting that the Alpha female shared in her disapproval for her brother's actions. It was uncommon for him to want time to himself, absurd even. His life practically revolved around her. What reason did he have to be so secretive at the same time? She was agitated, but with a deep, calming sigh and a lick of her own nose, she heeded the female's words. Devyant would show up eventually, he always did. And when he did he could shower her with apologies with licks, claiming he would never do it again then initiate a playful game to take the edge off both of them.
Yes, she would have to wait for that.
Her ears twitched at Thirteen's words and soon a deep warmth enveloped her. Skarlet was easily susceptible to flattery, regardless of whom it was from. The reaction was always the same. She would look to the ground, brush her paw in the dirt as if looking for something and subtly wait for the foreign warmth to die down so she could focus. Her tail twitched as the ritual was began and ended exactly as she was used to. Followed with a softly uttered, "Thank you." The female dared to raise her head and watched as the flower was fitted behind the female's ear. Her eyes widened momentarily in awe as a youthful smile graced her muzzle. "It's pretty," the she-wolf complimented. "And it suits you well." With all her intelligence, the female never could craft a more vivid sentence when it came to complimenting others. It was always so concrete and exact it was sickening. Her brother, on the other paw, he knew how to make a female quiver with his words whether it was intentional or not. Such a suave male, a silver-tongue devil. It was a shame he hadn't found himself a decent female yet...

The scent from the little blue flower was divine, and her eyes kept wandering to it on occasions. She began to wonder what Skarlet must think of her. Thirteen was well known in her pack for daydreaming, her love of flowers and little odd snippets of information like that. That and her ‘love’ of Daemon. It upset her greatly that her wolves, famed for their high intelligence, could not work out that she had no romantic feelings for her fellow alpha. Rolling her eyes in her thoughtful state, she felt a gentle breeze push through her fur, waking her mind as she looked back over to the mostly silver female before her. She was glad that Skarlet was a Delta of hers; she would make a fine Beta one day, after her stay in the pack had surpassed a few months.
Her head fell a little to one side as she watched the coy shyness of Skarlet shine through after the compliment she had paid her. Ahh, they were much a-like in that respect then, having a certain way of dealing with compliments. It made her smile, especially as a smile fell on the other female’s muzzle as well. It was a wonderful spring day, and she was finally integrating in her pack, like she was supposed to do. Alphas were meant to know each and every wolf in their pack, regardless of rank. She found Skarlet’s little mannerism to be quite cute, pushing one paw out a little to stretch her muscles before they cramped up again. Shaking her head for a second, she felt heat come over her face. Darn compliments. “Thank you, you are too kind you know. A good quality to have. I am sure your brother is proud of you.”
It was probably a bad thing to say, considering the poor girl was missing her brother like crazy, but…Thirteen was desperately trying to think of a way to make her feel better.
