T H I R T E E N you might as well just do it alone and i'll watch you go
Blazing orange eyes gazed up to the sky, wondering what was beyond the safety of her own den and garden. Even if she was still in her territory. Perhaps there was a different world, one where the grasses were blue and the skies were yellow and orange. It was an odd thought, but anything was possible. Her face was blank, no expression resting on her muzzle as a light sigh filtered past her closed lips. Tail was curled around her front paws, minding her rather long and sharp silver claws. The tip flicked occasionally as her thoughts wandered away from her. The cold didn’t both her at all, she loved it. Small wisps of white vapour curled out of her nostrils, eyes still gazing up at the sky. It was getting darker in the woods, but she didn’t mind. She was used to being in the dark; because she had been cooped in a cave for most of the day.
‘This is a nice night to actually be alive. I’d miss sights like this if I wasn’t around. I missed all of this while I was shut in that cave, I can’t believe it. I’m going to have to make up for lost time now. Still, part of me wonders where my family has gone. And the rest of my pack too, probably catching up on some sleep. Oh well, I’m free now, which is a change. So, I might as well get off my ass and see what’s around in this forest with its tall grass and trees. There better be something worthwhile here now.’
Flicking her ears, she lowered her head, looking into the grass which tickled at her chest. Smirking a little before letting her expressions fade, the mutt-wolf slowly rose to four paws. Stretching out her front legs, the white and rose-tinged female yawned, pink tongue falling out of her mouth for a moment. Sucking it in again, she stood upright, head turning a little to see what was around her. Noting really sparked interest in her as she took a closer look. Everything was rather…plain and boring, flowery in places. Rolling her eyes and sighing again, she gradually moved from her spot, pacing herself nicely as she walked through the grass. Heading towards a group of trees, her mind was lost in the song of sparrows and other flying-fowl as they chattered into the sunset. Long tail was in the air, tip curled in a little as she walked. It was a lovely night, she had to admit.
“Ты меня учишь ждать. И говоришь смешные фразы. А я хочу все отдать. Если любовь, значит только сразу. Ты не поймешь во сне. Если любовь, значит все сгорает. Зайчики на стене. После заката умирают”
She sang quietly to herself as she walked, eyes closing as she did so. As her words faded into the dark of the night, eyes opened again as she looked over her shoulder, wondering why she had even come to the forest in the first place. It was very dark, not even the faint traces of moonlight could be seen through the thick canopy of leaves. It left her puzzled even more. Muttering something under her breath, the world was hard to see. She could just about make out the tree trunks, and weaved between them, getting deeper into the cold and dense forest before her.
‘I really shouldn’t be here, it is very dark and…well, anything could be lurking. No, I won’t be beaten by a little darkness!’
Slowing down to a stop, she lifted her head to the sky again. Still, nothing came into her line of view except black and a little bit of grey here and there. “What a dark place this is at night. Perhaps…” Cut off in mid sentence as something scurried over the ground, a sharp growl escaped from her mouth, quickly followed by the ‘usual’ silence. Being a homosexual Alphess was a lonely thing in retrospect, now she dwelled on it. Wandering on, she began to listen on to the silence.
Ты меня учишь ждать. И говоришь смешные фразы. А я хочу все отдать. Если любовь, значит только сразу. Ты не поймешь во сне. Если любовь, значит все сгорает. Зайчики на стене. После заката умирают - You me learn to wait. And you speak the ridiculous phrases. But I want to return everything. If love, means only immediately. You will not understand in the sleep. If love, means everything it burns sunbeam reflections on the wall. They die after sunset.

keep holding on Ah, the night.
Normally Isis preferred the daytime, but there were some days when everyone needed a little quiet. Everyone needed a little darkness in their lives, right? Literally, at least. Nobody liked the figurative darkness, the memories that haunt dreams, the ones that lurk behind shadows and creep out at the most inopportune times. That darkness the world could probably live without.
An ear swiveled casually behind her, flickering at the sounds. The music of the night, right? Wasn't there a song by that name or something? Well, it wouldn't have made much of a difference, anyway. Isis couldn't carry a tune for shit. The thought brought a smirk to her face. Maybe that should be something she's feared for - her voice can make any wolf's ears bleed. She snorted aloud this time, sending a few agigated birds skittering off from out of their trees. Her blue eyes lifted upwards, watching them flap quickly into the sky. A few feathers fell from their wings, floating carefully down to the floor. They landed without a sound, and the Goranzo wolf stared at them for a moment. Her gaze was contemplative. They were so fragile in their beauty...
Why did beautiful things have to be fragile?
Her lip curled, and her paw reached out. She stepped on the feathers and dug her foot into the dirt, swiveling it to destroy the discarded plumage. A few droplets of water leaked from her pores at the sudden surge of emotions flowing through her, but she ignored them. She shook her pelt quickly and instead continued on her walk. That was all this was intended to be, anyway. Just a walk. She never came here to hunt or anything...she was full right now. Lucky for those damned birds.
The sound and scent of another wolf nearby made her freeze. She looked like a statue, a mass of blue fur that had been accidentally placed in the forest. Her eyes darted behind her, and when singing started, she relaxed. She recognized the voice of her leader immediately - she had heard Thirteen sing before a few times, and she always thought the sound to be soothing. She sat down quietly, letting her blue tail curl around her feet. Her head tilted to the side as she listened, and when the alphess finally came into view, she gave her a playful smirk.
"it's a little late for girls like you to be out, don't you think?" she chided, the very tip of her tail flicking up and down at a steady pace. "you seem on edge tonight. anything wrong?"

T H I R T E E N you might as well just do it alone and i'll watch you go
Paw carried her on through the dark and lonely wood, her boredom and loneliness growing swiftly. Stopping, she closed her eyes and let herself rise in the air. Opening her eyes again, she gazed up through the trees, just about making the moon out. It was a wonderful sight, full and glowing silvery white. So serene, so peaceful. A smile appeared on her face as she began to swim in the sky, walking on nothing but an invisible pathway she herself had carved with her Element. Sometimes, she loathed it. There was nothing special about it, apart from the flight. She had seen other Gravity wolves. They killed others with a swift flick of their paws, pushing them in all directions and crushing their bodies into the Earth. It was an awful sight to behold, one she herself did not want to re-enact. Of course, she would carelessly kill a fish with a flick of her paw, but nothing more sinister than that. She had even saved a wolf’s life, but that did not settle the disappointment she held for herself.
Rising higher into the air, she parted the leaves in the trees to her the moonlight filter through. She was bathed in an eerie white glow, the rose in her coat standing out more than ever, eyes sparkling with a fading childish joy. She didn’t want to sing anymore, she could still hear her foreign words lingering on the wind, melody running out of her head and fading away. Looking over her shoulder, she noticed a shadow move. Lowering her body to the ground and turning to face the shadow, she looked on into the night. There was a wolf-scent in the air, and one of her own which was pleasant. She had seen a Flyanta male, and was actually wanting to spend time with one of her own for once. Taking a careful step forward and looking on. The shadow moved, got a little smaller, sat down. Taking more steps closer, the fluid words of a female hit her ears. A voice she could not easily mistake. It was her only Delta, a blue furred Water wolfess by the name of Isis, possibly the only wolf who was more than just an acquaintance to her.
As she came closer, parting the canopies ahead of her, blue fur shimmered; orange eyes catching the smirk strode across the female’s face. Rolling her eyes and shaking her head, she carried on towards her. “Girls like me know how to defend themselves, as I am sure you know Isis.” Stopping a few meters away, she let her head fall a little to one side, tail in the air and swaying casually a few times. There was something in her tone which always made her feel weird inside, a feeling which she could place, but frequently denied as nothing more than friendly affection and respect. “And, as for being on edge, I guess you could say that dear. It seems my world has been going a little crazy lately. Not the usual Alphess-job kind either.” Straightening herself up again, she was sure more questions would arise from her statement, but, she was prepared to answer them.

keep holding on Indeed, the woods seemed to be the loneliest place on Nevermore. They were desolate. Quiet. Not a sound seemed to ripple through the chilling stillness of the area. But, of course, that was only if you were in a hurry. You needed to stop every once in a while, smell the roses...Isis smirked. One thing she seemed to have plenty of nowadays is time. She had all the time in the world, enough to sit around and listen to the birds chatter at each other and screech at her. She took a deep breath through her nose, inhaling all of the sweet scents the forest emitted. When she thought about it, it wasn't desolate at all. This entire area was thriving with life, whether it be in plant or in animal form. It was truly beautiful here, but just a little creepy at nighttime...
She watched as Thirteen began to levitate, and jealousy quickly ensued. Isis had always wanted to fly on something...the closest she has ever gotten was letting a small wave carry her back and forth. It must feel exhilarating to be able to fly through the air without worrying about anything...a quiet sigh escaped through Isis' blue muzzle as she watched. She quickly began to envy her alpha's grace. Isis could barely walk without tripping, let alone do something so pretty with her powers...
She smirked playfully when Thirteen rolled her eyes at her. "well, one never really knows. you could be just a pushover," she said sarcastically. If anyone knew the alpha female like Isis did, they would know that Thirteen was anything but a pushover. She snorted at the comment she had just made, giving a flick of her tail to show that she was joking. She took a deep breath and stared at her seriously, her eyes holding a very small glitter of longing, and only for an instant. She was pretty open with her sexuality, and had a bit of an attraction to Thirteen, but of course, she wasn't going to tell her alpha that any time soon. She had no idea what kind of wolf she was; after all, she did have Daemon, right? "oh? what kind of crazy are you talkin' about then?" she asked when Thirteen addressed her again. Now her curiosity was piked.

T H I R T E E N you might as well just do it alone and i'll watch you go
Orange eyes were half focused on the blue furred female she so happily called her Delta, and half fixated on the flowers dotted around on the forest floor. Their scent was intoxicating, and she couldn’t help but sigh happily. Tail swayed happily in the air, still high as a show of her position, but relatively relaxed and calm. After all, there was no need for tension in the air, she trusted Isis. The forest was possibly one of the places she had explored the least, and the amount of new and bright flowers on display was just proof of that. She could not help but wander away for a moment. Thirteen’s paws carried her behind one of the larger trees, nose to the ground as she spotted an odd flower. It was bright red, with purple flecks and a purple centre. She smiled widely and lowered her head down, jaws twisting around the stem. Plucking it gently from its roots, the flower lay limp in her mouth as she trotted back over towards her water-born friend. Claws made her stop as she dropped the flower at her feet, lowering her rear to the ground as she sat in triumph over her discovery of the plant. Still, the rose-tinted female couldn’t help but feel sorry now she had picked it.
Looking back over to Isis, she noticed a small spark in her eye as the memories of her levitation hit back in her head. All wolves seemed to envy her ability to walk in the air, much like the Air wolves. It pained her to see others so upset with their own powers, which she herself would trade for her own any day of the year. Nevermore was such a diverse place for powers…nothing else was diverse though, apart from the packs. Everything else was so normal and strict and natural. It was sometimes distressing and painful to see wolves being so narrow minded about things. Tail curled around her front paws as she looked to the sky for a moment, keeping the canopy parted so sunlight flooded down on the pair. Orange eyes fell back to the female, as she admired the way her coat sparkled and glittered like dew on grass. She envied that, to have beauty like hers. She was more suited for the Flyanta pack than her own, and she often wondered why she hadn’t left to be with them. But, she was glad that the blue female was in her pack, she felt very close to her at the best of times. And the worst as well.
Giving a playful glare towards Isis, she snorted and shrugged her shoulders. “You can think what you like of me Isis, so can everyone else for that matter. they will then be shocked at what I can really do.” Lifting a paw to inspect her pad in a bored fashion, she flexed her toes for a moment before lowering it back under her tail. She picked the flower in her mouth and rose to her paws, coming closer before sitting down again. She threw the flower in Isis’ direction, smiling. “Can’t plant it now, can I?” She smiled and then let it fade as the inevitable question was thrown at her. There was no way to avoid it either, she had to answer. Besides, Isis couldn’t really do anything much in response. Words weren’t so bad, even if to her they healed slower than real wounds.
She might as well leave it open-ended; leave some of the imagining to Isis herself. Thirteen wasn’t in the mood yet for revealing too much. “Well, seems you’re interested enough. Guess you could say there’s a few misconceptions of me going around. But, they’re mostly solved. Sort of. Just have to deal with the whole me-Daemon-mates issue. Somehow, nobody seems to get we’re just friends.”

keep holding on Isis watched Thirteen's orange eyes scan the area. They were striking...it was so wonderful how everyone was so unique around here. What, with Isis' blue fur, Thirteen's eyes, and so many more winged and oddly marked wolves, this was the most magical place any wolf could ever dream of being at. Of course, she couldn't help but wonder sometimes -- why were they like this? What had happened that made the gods bless them with such powers, markings, and appendages? Her ear flickered backwards a little as she suddenly lost herself in thought. It was odd behaviour, for her at least. she wasn't the contemplative kind of girl.
She watched Thirteen absentmindedly pick a flower, and she thumped her tail once. She had never really seen that particular flower before. It was very pretty. Her eyes sparkled a little as she stared at it from afar. The markings were just as unique as everything else around here; the thought made her smile. She shook her head -- jeez, she was acting so out of her character today. Thirteen might freak out and wonder who the imposter was. She smirked to herself and stretched out her limbs nonchalantly. Her tail swayed as she caught Thirteen staring at her. "what?" she asked quickly, suddenly becoming self conscious.
Thirteen then returned the glare and joked. Isis smirked slightly. "you take this whole 'alpha' business way too seriously, hon," she said truthfully. It was true, too. It seemed like Thirteen never gave herself any time for fun. "lighten up a little bit!" she said, suddenly standing up and bounding towards her, snapping her jaw to try and rile her alpha up. "we all know what you're capable of, otherwise wouldn't you think there'd be more challenges to your title?" she said innocently after she stopped romping. She tilted her head at the flower suddenly thrown at her, but said nothing. She merely rested her paw atop the stem, protecting it from further harm.
Isis' ear swiveled at Thirteen's comment about her and Daemon. "well, normally, you don't make just a friend your alpha male," she stated. "maybe you should make a big decree about it?" She grinned, showing that she was completely joking. "so you...are just friends?" Was that hope in her tone?

T H I R T E E N you cry but you don't tell anyone that you might not be the golden one and you're tied together with a smile but you're coming undone
Gazing up through the hole in the trees she had created, her mind seemed to wander to a far off realm that only she could reach. It was normal for her to wander off into thought, as many of her pack knew, thus leaving her to her own devices until she was ready to face the world again. Her tail swayed casually as she dreamt about foreign worlds, places where wolves were…without any of the gifts they were granted with. Some wolves in Nevermore were like that, but, all had an Element to their name. Perhaps, in distant lands, all wolves were just normal, powerless and feral, like they were supposed to be. It was an odd thought to dwell upon, but one she often contemplated alone. She wished that her coat was rid of the rose, for she had a hidden dislike for all things pink. And yet, it made her who she was, a walking contradiction. Most of her advice was contradictory to herself. The orange eyes, another thing she loved and hated. Of course, no other wolf she had seen had eyes to rival her own, but she wished that they were not such a…common colour, so close to amber that they were hardly special at all. And her element, so powerful yet so useless at the same time. Floating around was all it was good for, apart from the occasional experimental day she had where she would leave craters in her path. She often wondered if a wolf of her element, teamed with one of Water and Earth, made all of the lakes and rivers in Nevermore. It was a wild thought at best, but it gave her some hope over her element, proving that it was actually good for something after all. To Thirteen though, it was just another excuse. Another dream to let fade away into the distance.
Eyes drawn back to the rather puzzled ‘what’ of Isis, a smile came to her face as she shook her head. “Nothing my dear, nothing at all.” She laughed a little, before the smirk on her Delta’s aqua face. It made her raise an eyebrow, ears twitching as she listened to her words. They were true. She did take her role too seriously for her own good. But, Daemon was hardly ever around these days, which pained her greatly. Especially after his near-death experience. Sure, he was hurt and upset at himself, but neglecting his position wasn’t good either. She sighed and nodded nonchalantly. “I know I do, but…sometimes, I cannot help myself.” Looking away for her moment, the sound of bounding paw steps and snapping at her face made her head whirl around. Isis’ face was so close to her own, that she could have taken hairs of her muzzle. Eyes wide and a startled bark escaping her lips, she flew back a little as Isis stopped romping around. Sighing sharply and laughing, she shook her head again, a common thing for her to do. “Oh Isis. I have never known someone as right as you. But, I am easily beat. All I do is fly around, cause a crater or two. Others…have used Gravity…to kill. I cannot do that, I am a pacifist by nature.”
It was nice to see the blue furred female protecting the flower under her paws, and a gentle smile appeared to her face. Lifting a front paw, she placed it close to her chest; “Normality is over-rated you know. And, there are no laws against it, because I make the laws in these lands. Therefore, my paw, my land, my rules.” Giggling, she lowered her paw down again and seated herself on the grass. The floral scent in the air was making her more lively than usual, and she was starting to like the feeling more as the days wore on. “You seem surprised Isis. You of all wolves should have noticed how distant we have become this past year. Besides…my feelings for him…seem to be dwindling anyway.”
‘My feelings for all males has burnt out, and it burnt out many years ago Isis. But…you will probably never know that. Only one knows my secret and shares it with me. And…until I know that nothing will go wrong…you shall be kept in the dark as well. I am sorry, dear Isis. But, that is how it shall go.’

keep holding on It seemed that no matter what a wolf had, they were never quite satisfied with it. It wasn't like Isis was perfect and not guilty of it; in fact, she was probably the most guilty of it out of any wolf here. But, even so, she still knew that her element was a gift in itself, and she needed to learn how to make good use of it. It seemed as if Thirteen had already done so -- her mastery of the odd element of Gravity was astounding. There was no reason why she shouldn't have become the Alphess of the Goranzo territory. And her choice in mates, Daemon, was just as strong. However, his hot-headedness was getting this pack into trouble, and so it was clear who the real head was. Isis smirked at the thought.
It probably would have insulted Daemon if he knew what she was thinking...probably enough to even demote her to just an omega. His pride was more important to him than anything else...she snorted quietly to herself and shook her blue tinted fur of debris from the forest. "i know that it's in your nature...but you really need to step back sometimes, smell the flowers...give yourself some sort of break." She took a slightly hesitant step forward, her head lowered a bit. "you're going to work yourself to death. i do worry about you sometimes..." she confessed.
She looked back to Thirteen with a large grin on her face. "it's good that you're a pacifist. you're an alpha, after all. it's good that you can keep the peace, when all daemon seems to want is a war..." Her thoughts drifted away again, and she looked to the side. Something was still up with her alpha, and she couldn't put a paw on what it was. She frowned a bit and looked up when Thirteen began to speak of Daemon. "i...honestly, i haven't noticed much of anything between you two at all, good or bad..." she stated truthfully. "have you tried talking to him about all of this?"
She took a step forward and lowered her head. "forgive me, but...i think you're hiding something else from me, thir..." she mumbled quietly. Her eyes were filled with concern for her alpha as she sat down. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

T H I R T E E N you cry but you don't tell anyone that you might not be the golden one and you're tied together with a smile but you're coming undone
A smile rose onto her rose-tinted face as the blue furred Isis stepped closer towards her, a deeply concerned look shimmering in her eyes. Such mood shifts that female had when in her presence. Only moments ago was she romping around trough the trees, attempting to snap at her muzzle in a playful gesture. It was amazing to witness, from her point of view anyway. She had been so cooped up in her own misery of late, that she had forgotten the joys of socializing with others. Thirteen had spent most of the seven-suns worrying about Daemon and Illusion, the ever-so kind male from the Flyanta pack not too far off from her own borders. He himself was a tough nut to crack, but his past [or what little she herself knew of it at least], was terrible and the hidden reason for his rather quirky nature. And yet, he seemed perfectly relaxed and calm when around her. Did she have some other unusual power of Empathy, or was it just a natural gift of hers? Right ear twitched a little as she gazed up into the tree-hole again, eyes shimmering on their own. She was so peaceful inside…
“That is why I have my garden. My sanctuary away from the world. It is the only place in this whole territory that Daemon and the other wolves don’t know about, because it’s only my scent that is the border. Selfish I know…but it is my own oasis.” Thirteen didn’t actually realise she was talking now, her words sounding overly monotonous as her mind drifted away from her. She never realised she did that. Her mind clicked back to reality, head turning to face Isis as she appeared deeply troubled again, closer to her now and sitting down. Had she missed her words? No, they seemed to still be running around wildly in her head. “дорогой Isis…you concern is actually well founded, and I thank you for it. And, your thoughts on Daemon seem to be well founded as well.” She paused for a moment, lowering her head a little as she tried to put words in her mouth to speak. “Indeed I have tried to bring the…subject up, but…I, in all honesty, am…scared of his response. To what I have told you and…to what I have yet to reveal to anyone other than…” Eyes closed. She didn’t want to drag poor Illusion into the subject, he had enough problems to deal with in his own pack.
Thirteen’s tail wrapped delicately around her small paws, small spheres of dirt rising into the air and spinning around her body as she thought deeply. They shattered and landed as she opened her eyes, the concerned look hitting her again. She knew that Isis was her most trusted friend and companion in the pack, but…could she truly reveal herself to her? “тайный, they destroy us all inside. The death is slow and painful…but there is a way to relieve it. And yet, I do not feel…I don’t think I can…if I told you, would you listen and tell no other?”
дорогой - dear тайный - secrets

Thir seemed to be a bit more peaceful now, but before there was something that was very wrong. Isis was positive that something was still up; she could practically smell the hesitancy in the air. bah major wip sorry bb. [/blockquote]
