Grand addition? What was Zynex talking about? She had just attacked him and now she was talking about--- oh. Was this an offer to join Tytanus? If so, then that made her... at least a beta. Wowzers.
Viggo was unsure of what to say for once in his life. He was not familiar enough with the area to make an informed choice. What if this pack had too many sausages already? Would they allow interpack mating? This was absurd in his thoughts. Of course, he did not exactly believe in packs... more like harems...with him in the largest of them all.
His body posture still a little on the defensive side and posture as he sat up from the ground. The tawny male had rather surprised himself at his ability. He had clearly been outmatched physically, yet he had succeeded in passing her insane little test. Still sitting, he did a half shake to toss some of the ashen soil from his coat, trying to buy himself some more time to think before answering. Already he had been silent almost too long, and just from his encounter with the copper fey he did not want to push his luck.
Ever the opportunist, he decided to question her for even more time and information. "Tell me about your pack, Zynex. How many are you together? What sort of wolves make it up? What rules do you hold all by? And what position are you?" There were many more questions he wanted to know. Like, for instance, could he have a trial membership? What ranking would he hold once there? Were there females aside from her, and if so, were they single and unmated? It was, after all, spring time.

As expected of a loner, the male didn't seem to enthusiastic about joining her little pack...or about the trial she had put him through. She imagined she came off as a little unstable by their little game gone aggressive, but that was too be expected from a femme in her position. Free to rise, she slowly curled her form up to stand shaking loose the debris from her autumn pelt.
Within the silence she simply watched him, gaging his reaction to her words, trying to decipher whether or not he would consider. The fae should have expected his onslaught of questions...afterall she had given little to no information about her pack. Raising her proud cranium she spoke, "My pack is small as of now, but the Tytanus or wolves that depend on quality rather than quantity. Our skills vary, yet our strength is unmatched. As for our rules, there are few. We each look out for the other, regardless of rank and build upon the other's weakness. It one falls short, than the entire pack fails. Slacking is not tolerated, whether in training or on a hunt. Yet," her firm tone softened. "We are not all strength. Intelligence is a key part of any pack, as are bounds. It is encouraged to look upon the other as brother or sister, and should the relationship deepen, that is fate's will. But we don't allow this bound to cloud another's judgment. And as the Alpha," a sly smile of sorts spread across her muzzle, "I see to it that all this conduct is upheld. Does that answer your questions Viggo?"

Yup. She was an alpha female. And he felt dumb. Really, really dumb. And played. Not only had Viggo thought her just a nice piece of tail (literally) but he had not even pictured er to be quite so high ranking until she had offered him acceptance. And then she turned out to not only be high ranking, but the alphess. Damn the luck.
Time to try and spin it more to his liking.
"I'm considering your offer. However, what if I decided Tytanus isn't for me?"
Honesty, Viggo was trying to cover all the angles. He wanted to know his escape routes before he had trapped himself in something that was not up his alley. The pack mindset was not one that he fit well into. Concern for others was not in the forefront of his mind, and as Zynex had said that they were expected to pull the weight of themselves and to assist picking up slack from others.... well, that did not seem too appealing. Especially when he wanted to be one of the wolves that could slack in hopes of others picking it up for him.
However, the fact he was being offered a place spoke highly to his ego. She had said that they valued strength and intelligence. While he was not the strongest wolf, he was fiercely cunning. But, one thing still held him back from thinking she was excited about having him join. She had mentioned the taming of somethings. What was she referring to? Perhaps he was intimidating? Obviously not too much, for she had attacked him. No alphess would willingly risk the leadership of her pack simply to test one loner, would she?

The female had to resist rolling her eyes. Now they male just sounded ridiculous. What was he expecting her to do, kill him if he decided to leave? Of course it was the ideal punishment. If he had been among the pack and learned of each member, their personalities, their weaknesses and shared this information with an opposing pack, death was the likely option. But there was hardly a doubt in her mind that the male would want to leave.
Surely he would find some appealing reason to stay.
But still, his inquiry needed a response lest she loose his interest now that it was ensnared. "Should you choose to leave, then no harm will befall you...so long as your word is given that what you learn within the Tytanus will not be shared with another pack. I believe I am pretty lenient on this...as not all wolves are fit for a family." She raised a brow as if speaking specifically about him. "But..I suggest you attempt to understand out ways. You may realize that you enjoy our environment. But as stated..if you don't like it....you are free to leave."

+300 Zynex's offer sounded basically like a free trial. As if pak life had a warranty. He could live with that. But, he wanted something in return. Viggo's eyes gleamed with a mischevious light as he thought of how to get exactly what he wanted. A trade if you will. Rising from his position, he walked towards the alphess, only to begin slowly circling her, as if pondering her words. Weighing their meaning. Considering her offer.
The alphess had given him what he wanted: an escape route. However, the physical Viggo felt more was deserved. More... immediate... gratification. The waves of testosterone had lowered, and mostly ceased their radiation from the tawny coat. There was much in store still, he was not running low, but it had obviously held no allure to the alphess Zynex.
From their encounter Huld knew he could not simply mount the other. Aside from killing her offer of his admittance, she might possibly kill him. The wave of heat he had felt as he won their spar had confirmed her as his equal, if not his superior, when it came to elementals. Not to mention, she was still seated, which made the physical attempt awkward if not impossible.
"You make a very good offer." His head held high, tail erect, Viggo was parading himself around as close to a dominant position as possible with out being disrespectful to her status. Raising a brow of his own in response to hers, he continued. "I think I will join you and your Tytanus wolves, Zynex," His voice curled seductively around her name, subtly trying to show his intentions. Viggo had realized it was perhaps his forwardness she felt he should calm. "Perhaps I will find my place here, in a family with you." Viggo smiled inwardly at his play on words. Outwardly she could not take offense to his wish of packhood and familial love. However, she could outwardly accept his subtle come on. He had given her a sneaky way to accept or decline such an offer.

After much time and consideration, the Alphess was pleased her offer was accepted, though the means by it were strange. The male's voice had toned down a little bordering sensuality as he rose to his feet and stalked around him. She followed his gaze as long as her eyes would allow before she submitted herself to his scrutiny. This was perhaps his own inspection, and for the sake of his joining, she would allow it.
She watched his change in stance and raised an intrigued brow at his little display, a means to gain her attention. And she had it. There was but little else for her to do but let her eyes wander over his form, leaving no appendage unsearched. Her lingering gaze could have been misleading, and perhaps it intended something more. But in place of the tawny pelt, she say an onyx accented grey. A single amber jewel roamed over her bodice with hunger, desire and need. A chill coursed down her spine, wracking her to the core.
A quick shake of her clouded mind made it clear almost instantly, and her immediate eyes saw the flaunting male. Collecting herself, she cleared her throat and pulled herself up to stand. "Well," she cleared her throat once more. "Perhaps you will find your place. It might even surprise us both." Gaining her footing, she padded a few feet away then glanced to the male behind. "If you care to follow me...I will lead you to your new home..." [exit zynex]
